Onions!?

One of my chicks ate 1/4 of a raw onion and is now not wanting to stand. What should I do!? I know nothing about raising chickens. We didn’t know they couldn’t have them.

Well, I’m sorry to say, but I looks like your chick has Heinz anemia, which is caused by giving chickens large amounts of garlic, leeks, onions, etc. Especially for a chick, that is a lot of onion for her. I wish your chick the best and I recommend bringing him/her to a vet immediately. I forgot, Heinz anemia is a condition when pets eat to much onion and the red blood cells are getting attacked.
