This is my Buff Orpington, Cinderella. I had to make her a special saddle because she was brutally attacked by my dog. She almost did not make it, but pulled through in the end. Her back was totally naked and had deep wounds so the saddle was extra padded and protected her while she healed! And it looked cute too!

Hey Nadine! The saddles are just great. Tosca stopped complaining after the first day and is now taking to the tie-die well.

I have a RIR who is patiently waiting for hers

but I did the duct tape thing on one of my EE's a couple months ago and it did work well.

When I was a kid (and had lots of time....) I swiped one of my mom's emery boards when I needed to file my banty rooster's claws/nails ..... and I used hoof nippers on his spurs......

(Now that I have typed that, I am thinking, GOD ! how barbaric, HOOF NIPPERS )

But, I was very careful, and it seemed to work !

Maybe someone should try out that neat looking gadget called Pedi-Paws and let us know if it works on chickens too.

BONNIE'S LOOKS EXCEPTIONALLY NICE! I'M SURE MY GRACIE WOULD LOVE IT AND IT WILL KEEP MR. CHUBBS OUT OF TROUBLE.
GRACIE LOVES HIM BUT I'M UPSET THAT HE KEEPS PULLING HER FEATHERS OUT WHICH I GUESS IS NORMAL SINCE THAY MAKE SADDLES FOR THE GIRLS.
