I'm still waiting for my fertility check on my Buff Orphingtons. The roo appears to know what he's doing and the hens are laying. But I just can't offer anything I don't know about the fertility. The shipping does a number on them as it is. I want who ever gets them to have a chance at least.

Come on - Somebody take these.

Oh! What the heck - I'll take them and offer 20+ Texas A & M Coturnix Quail. These are the large white quail! They say white meat but I have never processed one of my whites to know for sure. Full Grown and laying OR ready for the grill in 8 weeks.

My incubators are running but i'm concentrating on building my silkie flock for spring layers. The quail I have other plans for. Camp Frigidaire is where most of them would go. I had about 20 goldens that turned out white and only had a few colden spots on them. I finally processed all but one and I wasn't sure if it was one of the A & M.s or a golden so I put the 3 a & M.s and that one in a smaller cage to conserve heat and woke up to 3 bloody a & M.s. It's strange because they where all in the same cage to begin with, I just moved them to a smaller one. The bully is now in the fridge while the other 3 are recuperating. If I'm lucky enough to have a trio i'll stop there because I only want what I can process.

I do have plans in the spring to hatch out every quail egg and sell most of the chicks while just sending some to freezer camp. But i'm not able to tend to a bunch thru the winter. I'm having to down size as it is. My addiction to hatching makes it hard for me to not take this offer. But i'm holding out for silkies, sizzles and frizzles.

My chicks do better in the winter!! Seems easier to keep them warm than cool them off in the summer heat.

I will take the quail and offer 6+ buckeye eggs or 6+ Japanese bantam eggs, mixed colors but each color pure. Right now I am getting from my BTW pen and my Black pen.

ETA: OK, not gonna believe it, Just went out to feed and something got in my coop and killed one hen and injured another. One killed was one of the ones laying right now, not sure about the one injured. So might not be able to get 6+ buckeye eggs before they get too old. Sheesh.

I can back out, still offer japs, or I have paypal and can send postage to anyone willing to offer eggs in my stead.

***Latest in***** My daughter has graciously offered to add 6 show Potential eggs from her show pen of Bantam Salmon Faverolles!!!

It is alot easier to take care of them in the winter but I have allready downsized. I will only turn it back on for some guineas eggs or some standard cochins.
