If anyone wants to wait until spring when I have my cochins separated by color, I could give an assortment of purebred colors then. Just thought this might help get the chain going since it's now winter here and a lot of people don't want eggs right now.

I think because it's so cold out now, nobody wants to deal with having to keep chicks warm. I know I would jump on those cochins if my circunstances where different and it was closer to spring. We got hit with what we call a winter storm. Nothing compared to what others get I know but here it is. And it hit early this year. We don't usually have snow on the ground that actually sticks till the end of December and mostly January. It's blowing gusty winds and it's sooo cold out.

Plus I won't be here in January due to a family illness. DH will have to tend to it all and he's not used to it. I'd rather have empty baters before I left.
