I think the olive comes from the dark chocolate color of marans x blue of the ameraucana or ee

I put a splash silkie roo with a wheaten ameracauna and the chicks laid green and blue eggs. Don't know if that helps any.

I have a Gold Laced Crested Polish/Ameraucana hen who lays white eggs. She is in my OE pen with BCM roo. Daughters now lay beautiful dark Olive Green eggs. They look just like Ameraucanas, only not quite as big and with small crests and 5 toes. Eggs are a bit smaller than the Ameraucana x BCM eggs too. They are not quite as prolific at laying either. Hope that helps.

Crossing a white egg layer with a blue egg layer will simply produce a very pale blue egg layer.

Crossing a normal brown egg layer with a blue egg layer will give you green (sometimes bluish) egg layers...aka Easter Eggers. Crossing a dark egg layer to a blue egg layer is how you get the olive egger.
