Well i'm glad your test is over .I had to do two of them so far,but it;s good to know that you can run away from a bear if you had too! I worked tearing out a bathroom with a friend today and kind of over did it ,but not to bad.I'm to old to be a helper and it was weird working for him.I did pick up another load of 2+6s that they tore off a deck next door. That's one of the reasons i went today. I did call a young man that i knew to come over to help me load the lumber.Good thing ,by this afternoon i was pooped. So i guess i'm be making every thing out of 2+6s and have the most heavy duty chicken pens in the world. So ends my career as Carpenter helper,i'll just stay home and build my own things at my slow pace.

I need to pick up the pace here, way too much stuff to do. Need to clean two barns, plant that tree and three bushes, finish those runs, build more coops, clean the house, do the laundry, get ready for the sale Saturday. Heck, I am tired . Wish I had a couple of sons here to help me they are in Florida. I told them, Florida is going to be underwater when the ice caps melt. But they grew up there so they don't want to leave. And yes, the ice caps are melting at a record pace. Mankind has really screwed up this planet.:-(

Here are some old pens that I've had forever and making them into a big coop. I'll post more tomorrow.

Cool! I am making the goat creep feeder into a coop. Already ripped the old busted roof off. It is 4x8, so it will give some flock a good amount of space.

He is very good. Part of it is because he is stand offish. They are known protectors of there flock and hawk fighters.
