Online order question

I was just thinking. I ordered 15 female speckled Sussex a few days ago. Now they say they are chicks.......if they cant really be sexed properly until roughly 6 weeks I think.. then how do they know they are sending me only females as i have ordered?

They can never do it perfectly accurately. To put it into perspective, I once ordered 8 females from a hatchery and got 75% males. Then an other time, I bough 5 females and one male and they were bang on the money

There is "vent sexing" which involves looking at the day old chick's "naughty parts" to determine the gender, I might have the number wrong but I think this is supposed to be 90% accurate, or something like that when done by trained professionals.

At 6 weeks or whenever, the methods used are by looking at feathering, comb development,etc.

Ahhhhhh well that's cool. I'm good with 90%. That sounds a whole lot better then 75% males lol

We’re kinda odd in that we don’t watch tv, or not much tv.

Actually we haven’t even had our tv plugged in for a couple of years. We moved and are now remodeling this house and just haven’t even hooked our tv back up.

Is it a good series?

I came across it on netflix last week. The first episode was good.. in a way lol. Your name just made me think of it so thought I would ask. It's a family man (jason) who was thrown into a gang to wash money situation in order to save his family blah blah lol. Looks like it wants to be like breaking bad.
