There's nothing necessarily wrong with them. They were bred to lay a lot of eggs very early in their lives, so that they can be culled as soon as they stop laying. The problem with this is that they can suffer from a lot of reproductive issues, and they generally only live about 4-5 years.

Ah ok. Are the reproductive issues only issues if you breed them? That makes sense that she doesn’t lay anymore. And it’s sad they don’t live too long as well!

Nope, breeding doesn’t make a difference.

These are my polish bantam frizzle boys. 5 weeks old.
First is called Wiggles. When he was born he had splayed legs, we looked it up as we were worried and found that if you make a splint to pull the legs in it works and low and behold... It worked! He just wiggled around on his bum... Hence wiggles!
Second is Louis.
Third is our handsome Carlos! Named after the evil chick from Hop.
Forth is Theo.
Last but not least is worzle... As in worzle gummage... If you know you know!
Theo and Louis were named Thelma and Louise until a couple of hours ago when we found we had all boys!
