Nope. We were talking about the live chicks they had for sale. He was shocked when I explained the facts.

That was the same store where I pointed out to a different employee the horrible case of poopy butt their chicks had. And was told that was normal and nothing to worry about.

Then there was the third time I asked an employee what breed of ducklings they were selling and was told "yellow ones".

Just because someone works in a farm store that sells live poultry does not mean the employees know anything about them. Buyer beware is what I'm saying.
 
And (from what I've encountered anyway) the store personnel isn't necessarily up to snuff on that sort of thing either. Just one example, I've been told by an employee that I have to have a male to have a female lay eggs. :rolleyes:
That's why folks should do their research before they go to TSC to buy chicks, or the Ford dealer to buy a car, or the appliance dealer to buy a refrigerator, etc., etc,. etc.
