Only 5 of 11 Incubated Eggs Hatched!

Hey all!
I had 11 happy eggs in my incubator, but six of them never pipped to the air pocket. I opened them this morning and they were all fully formed. Does anyone know why this happened? The same thing happened to me in June too.

Could be 100 different things, weak embryos, parent stock genetics, parent stock health, feeding of parent stock, egg storage, egg contamination, incubator function, incubator contamination, humidity, inconsistent setting hen, ect. The list can go on. If you are consistently getting about 50% hatch, set double the eggs if you need a certain number of chicks. But be prepared because about the time you do that you will get 98% hatch and have to many chicks
