Your chickens will be so much safer! I ordered black hardware cloth but had to cancel the order because they were out of stock, I was pretty bummed. Glad you got your order!

I did not totally replace my wire with hardware cloth, but I did add it to the lower part of the run enclousure and down into the ground this year to ward off the digging rodents. It's been very effective, but the installation into the ground with an existing fence was quite a lot of work. That was a few months ago and well worth it in the end. I did not use black, to be honest I did not realize it came in anything other than silver.

Nice! Lucky for me, I already have the buried hardware cloth skirt. Just need to swap out the sides from chicken wire to hardware cloth. And eventually the top (which is chicken wire plus shade cloth on part plus tarp on part.)
