Only one egg

Hi,

I have three laying hens and at the moment, I'm only getting one egg each morning. Its winter where I live and it's cold in the mornings but not snowing. Is there anything I could do or do I just need to wait until spring? thanks

yes, just keep waiting, they'll pick up again come spring.

The slow down in laying has more to do with the amount of daylight than it does the weather. Your girls should pick up more as the days get longer.

I have a flock of 18 layers and I am only getting 2 - 3 eggs a day at this point. Waiting is the hardest part!!!!

How old are your birds?
What breed are they?
Is only one bird laying...or are all three laying?
What all and how exactly are you feeding them?
What is their housing like?
Dimensions and pics of coop and run would help.
