Hello!
My name is Sarah and I live in Southern Ontario (about an hour east of Toronto) and though I had chickens when I was a kid, my family and I have had our girls for two years now.
We started out with six Rhode Island Red girls and have grown to 44 this year
We currently have our original six Rhode Islands, Gold Laced Wyandottes, Ameraucanas, Easter Eggers, Speckled Sussex and a backyard mixture between Copper Marans, Jersey Giants, Rhode Islands, Easter Eggers, Columbian Rock and possibly more that I can't remember! We also raised two flocks of meat birds last summer.
I have decided to join because I have been reading threads for months now and I have my own questions to post
We just bought 105 acres of prime farm land with no house, so we are building this summer and starting our own natural farm!!!
I am looking forward to actually being a part of Backyard Chickens!!
