Hello: I am a active female that loves her farm and farm life..but for now I am in a city because of family issues...extended hubby's family that is....I love chickens and grew up with chickens, dogs, cats, birds, ducks, geese, sheep and a horse..so I feel eight at home here! I have a few layers but I am dying to find and acquire some true and original Icelandic pullets as well as Araucanas. When I go back to our piece of heaven..I want to seriously start a good breeding program for both breeds of chickens. I also raise Shetland sheep and have two Chilean llamas(girls) as their guardian..so here I am in the middle of a busy and congested area of the San Francisco Bay Area with a nice size lot and I have a chicken coop and a run for my girls ready to go.
