Oooh goody roundworms

In all my time with guineas, chickens and turkeys and the odd rescue here and there, never have I ever laid eyes on this beaut. The first picture is what my house chicken pooed yesterday the second is my other house chicken Onzo's gift. Both, to me, appear to be round worms. Having made that call, I immediately started the fenbendazole. Checked dosage.3 lb bird. As usual I ran into several differing opinions as to how many days to administer, but Eggcessive says administer for 5 days then by God we're administering for 5 days, no questions about it

Hopefully the others will chime in, but to me I don't see any Roundworms.
It does look like thin stranded poop though, so I'd make sure the birds are hydrated and have access to Poultry Grit (Crushed Granite).
Check crops to make sure they are emptying overnight.

Fenbendazole - Safeguard Liquid Goat Dewormer (10%) dosing is 0.23ml per pound of weight given orally once a day for 5 days in a row if you wish to deworm them.

@Tacampbell73 There are no worms in the feces. You are seeing piled up tubular feces in the shape of the birds intestines, often mistaken for worms.
However, it's good that you're worming your birds. The only time you'll see worms in feces is if a worm has died and was excreted, or if there is an overload of worms in the chickens innards, they have no more room and are then excreted. Why would a worm leave its host?
This is why it's important to worm birds according to your environment.

Make sure you worm all your birds while you're at it. Five days treatment for each bird using Safeguard liquid goat wormer will eliminate all types of poultry roundworms, but not tapeworms.
Telltale signs of tapeworms are tapeworm segments seen in feces requiring Equimax containing praziquantel just for your info.

Wow thank you to all of my heroes here. I guess I really don't know my shit in retrospect I did wonder why her poop the night before looked like a puddle of water with small black balls in it. Leave it to my overactive imagination to run with it. Although Star, the proud purveyor of the poop picture one has a real round belly and isn't fond of jumping on or off high places All is well with my chicken children so I am happy. Thank you again and another great lesson in doody!

I remember having that issue with my chickens. Of course, then I had to deworm my dog as well since he wasn't UTD on his HW/intestinal parasite prevention and was definitely chowing down on chicken poo while in the yard. Haven't seen any issues since.
