Even with weather like that you can still leave the food and water outside if you have a covered run. We'll be getting temps like that soon too but the food and water are in their run. We've had down to -12C but they are still happy inside as well as outside. We just made sure the run is covered with vapour barrier and on one side (for their viewing pleasure) a sheet of clear polycarbonite.
