My order of baby chicks that I couldn't wait for was suppose to be in yesterday. I went by to pick them up, but they weren't there yet. However, they did receive there regular shipment and "Ooops I did it again" I came home with 11 baby furry legged bantams. There is even two that I am pretty certain they are silkies, yeah! (which is what I ordered, but hadn't come in yet) I will post the pics later today and of course, they called me early this morning and my babies have arrived, yeah. I think this will put me up to 50 baby chicks since Easter! Now I will have to fight the urge to not go any where near someplace with baby chicks, go in pick up my order and leave, hehehe. More coop plans to come, LOL!

    Krazy about furry buts!

    Congrats on your new chickies!

If my order from Ideal, that was supposedly shipped out yesterday, ever gets here....that will up me to around 70 chicks. I couldn't stay out of TSC lol. I went out to run errands today and I actually found myself contemplating going in to TSC 'just to see' what they had left. It took a lot to ignore the urge, but I did it!! I already have 4 heat lamps going, I don't want to buy any more lol.

No kidding those heat lamps are not cheap cheap!

On my arrival note, one chick has a broken leg or something. He/she just hobbles around on the one foot and I am not sure what to do. I noticed it when I picked them up, but I talked the guy into letting me take him home even though they weren't charging for him and said they could get me a replacement. I said no thank you to the replacement, since I have already gotten so many anyway, yeah for fighting the chick urge, but I feel really bad for this little guy. He is a black silky, [IMG] not sure he will make it. I have to make him drink, and I am not sure that he is eating.
