Ooops! Just found an 18 pack of store bought eggs!

I just went out to the extra refrigerator in the garage and apparently we had purchased eggs from the store in January when we were baking and our hens weren't laying enough. So I checked the packed date and it would have been in December 2010!!

Should I hard boil them and feed them to our flock or would they be so bad that it would hurt them? They don't smell, but I haven't cracked any open.
Safe or not safe?

They go crazy for them - we also crush up the shells and let them eat those, we serve them as the appetizer course while I'm cooking the eggs. The shells are great for clearing out their crops.
