Oops! I did it again! Now I'm gonna up it to 20!

I keep getting more and more requests for green eggs - and my three big-girl EE's just can't keep up! Seriously!

Plus - I just love them. I'm SO grateful to everyone who pointed out the difference between my EE's and real Ameracaunas! I would have ended up with a bunch of Ameracaunas instead - and that would NOT have been good!!

Anyway - at first I ordered just 6 of them. But then my husband said, "why just six???" So I called back and ordered 12! YEAHHHHHH!!!


They ship on April 21st. I can hardly wait!

I think so, but am only basing that on my experience... lots of partridgey colored ones, lots of green eggs... one white one... one blue egg! It might not be true, but it has been for me!

I'm a big fan of impirical evidence!!!

One of the bantam EE's I have is white...but I don't know if it's a pullet or cockrel....and it will be weeks before I can tell - here (s)he is last week:

It would be great to have a blue egg!!!!!!!!!​

Ok....so....my husband said that we might as well just make it an even 15! I love him SOOOOO much!!! So, today I called back and upped my order to 15! YEAHHHHHHHHH!!!! And they will still ship to me on the same date: April 21st.

Maybe then I'll get a blue-egg-laying EE - that would be excellent!

eta: it's not that my husband gives me permission to buy chicks (he wants me to point out!)...it's that he has to build a new coop for them...in less than one month!!!

I would like to point out that Ideal likes to send chicks in groups of 25. If you order less they will often send some packing peanuts. I ordered 9 chicks and got 13 packing peanuts. So my advice to you is go ahead and call them back and just order the 25 so you want get any packing peanuts.
