My husband and I started the new coop today that will accomodate these EEs! We are making it 9'x9'....so that is 81 square feet - divided by 3 - equals 27 chickens!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO....I'm going to up my order to 20. Yeahhhhhhhhhh!

Here in Florida, our chickens don't spend much time in the coop except at night to sleep and to lay during the day - at least that's the life my chickens live. The run is 50'x50' with the opportunity to free safely free-range on the days I'm not teaching riding lessons (they are a nuisance when I'm trying to teach!).

So, anyway, the addiction is being fed!!! Bring on the cool-colored eggs & the neatly colored hens!
