Beef, it's what's for dinner. Sam Elliott did a series of commercials several years ago for the Beef Producers Association. I can't sit down to a steak dinner without hearing him in my mind.

Today a new customer stopped and in spite of being well marked, Granny had to explain the procedure to him. Leave what ever you feel is fair. How difficult is that? I must say that so far it has been working out quite well with folks leaving between $3 and $5.

I'd listen to him read the phone book....

How come I didn't see those beef commercials that Sam did?!

Don't you know I LOVE steaks! I love them medium rare, enough to disgust my Mother out, thinking the cow is still alive with a bit of blood on my plate! I soak it up with either baked potato or a piece of roll.....mmmmmmmmmmm! My body craves for steak!

Steak tacos, grilled steak, broiled steak, steak stew, shredded steak hoagies, steak sandwiches, roast beef (top sirloin or rump roast)........hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

If a beef cow comes strolling on my property, it's a fair game! (getting out knives and a gun)

Oh, Honey! You completely missed the point. It wasn't the product... it was the narrator that made the commercials memorable.

Opa, it's all come full circle now, hasn't it? Back to who/what started it all!

Pretty soon ol' Baggy will chime in with the merits of "whoosit's full-o-beans" and it will almost be like the good old days!
