Sally: Bless your heart-I will say a prayer for your DH. I'm so sorry ya'll had such a rough night. Glad they found out what was wrong with him, though. If your weather is 2 days behind mine-all I can say for Tuesday in SC is this...small dog and toupe alert! The wind is SCREAMING this morning. My poor birds are walking sideways and my tallest rooster is walking all hunched over because the wind is catching him and almost blowing him over!

OK, Sally, so are dust rhinos a giant form of dust bunnies?

Sheila, not sure about Hillister myself. I was cutting Red Cedar, Live Oak and Mesquite,( hauled home a bunch for smoking all different kinds of meat.

I will never go to Texas again and cut Mesquite!!!!!!!!!

That's some rough stuff. It's like trying to wrestle a wildcat.

Woody, I know what you mean about mesquite. It's great for smoking, but OMG!!!!! It sure is a pain in the tush to cut up. I think the last time I cut some, I ended up with more cuts on me. Hey, I like the pressure washer idea!!!! Or.... We could tether the yaks to a hitchin' post, line up all our hogs and start them up, and the noise would blow all the hair off!

Ranchie, googling can be a hoot, huh? My DH looked up my name (Cayce) on some kind of urban dictionary, and I'll never hear the end of it. Can't even repeat it on here.

Yaklady - I love that pic of Diva, not only is her butt a lovely fluff, but she looks like two different chickens, like someone popped a head off a redstar and plopped it onto a white chicken of some sort.

Very cute. I LOVED the stream pic. Wish I had that.

Thanks to YakLady, we had an incredible meal for supper. I seared a salted and peppered yak roast she had given me in a little bacon grease then placed it in a slow cooker with a little minced onion and water. It cooked slowly from 9 until 4. Made some brown gravy with the juice and served with mashed potatoes and creamed corn. Don't believe you could have gotten a better tasting meal anywhere.

Evening all.
After reading the posts, I realized something about myself-I am a bad Texan. I don't like Bluebell Ice Cream, can't stand my meat smoked with mesquite, detest beer(

) and I'm not a Dallas Cowboys fan. They're gonna kick me outta here!
I've heard that mesquite is some mean stuff to fool with Woody. I don't blame you for not wanting to mess with it again(especially if it was in dead summer).
Sally you make me laugh. You're in the middle of your poor DH being in the hospital, lack of sleep, late night EMT visits and fighting a herd of "rhino bunnies" and you still maintain your sense of humor. You're a good egg.
