Opa's place -Where an old rooster visits with friends

You couldn't have asked for better week weather wise, highs in the70s, but tomorrow it's starting to heat up and next week is supposed to be back in the 90s.

Tomorrow I've got to roll the chicken ark out back and move some birds around. Here are some pictures of how it turned out.

You're very talented!

While this isn't that great, I now know how to make and modify your basic lightbulb circut.

Good Morning All! This looks like the last day in this stretch without rain, so lots of yard/garden work to get done. We'll be going into our little town (pop. 2400) for fireworks tonight. Hope everyone has a fun and safe 4th of July!

Opa, great ark! What are the dimensions on the bottom?

PK, You never know when the knowledge for making and modifying your basic lightbulb circuit will come in handy!

Humidity is 86% and temps heading to near 90 so I'm getting an early start but can't mow until the dew dries. Have a great day everyone.

The ark is 5' square and 5' tall. This winter I will cover the lower cage section with plastic and I would work out quite well as a home for my bantam hens

Whew, lots of catching up to do!

Despite the bad weather, Orpington Manor/Steff and I did meet in Murrell's Inlet on Thursday. The rain quit just as we got there and the sun came out, bringing a nice breeze with it. Steff's 3 sons and the eldest son's girlfriend were there too, so I got to meet the whole gang!

It's such a treat to meet another BYCer! Had a grand time.

The weather since then has been incredibly nice, records being broken for cool breezes and low humidity. I'm off soon to fire up John Deere and yeehaw around the "yard" some. High today of around 85F then Monday it starts hitting the 90s again.

Well, there are broodies to be broken and weeds to be whacked, seeya later!

Hi Sally! It was fun meeting you, too! Too bad so much time was spent resolving travel issues, but sometimes the planets line up when we least expect.

Breakfast this morning was a plethora of multi-colored Sally eggs.

The boys teased about the "green eggs and ham." Sillies!

Opa, beautiful job on that ark, as usual!
