Good Morning Everyone

Well, it is just one week away and I will be traveling to KY to visit my Daughter and Grand kids. Then we are going on a road trip to SC to visit Ranchie. Along the way we plan to Geo-Cache with the kids and if the weather is nice hit the beach in SC.

I am so excited

Opa, I know how you feel about sitting on the deck with my coffee...it has been such a long winter, I really miss it. Our high yesterday was 23F..Tuesday we had a blizzard that dumped anywhere from 8-12 inches of wet snow...and the rest of the week the highs are only supposed to be in the 20's.

I am really hoping the weather is warm in the south....I will tip a cup of coffee on the porch for both of us!!!

Yeah, the kids really like to Geo Cache and it give them time to stretch their legs on a trip...I bought travel bugs for all of us, so we will be planting them along the way. Mine was supposed to go in a cache here to travel its first leg to KY but with the snow and flooding I have not had a chance to plant it....I guess when I get back...maybe the weather will be better!

Funny how things change. When I was young upon occasion I would see the sunrise. Usually it was just before getting home from a long night of doing what young men like to do and I was thankful for the night I'd just had. Now when I see the sunrise it's just after getting up and I am thankful for the day I am going to have.

Well, I have gone from getting almost no eggs to getting so many I don't know what to do with them all. That is a sure sign of spring! If the weather won't cooperate than at least the chickens will.
