Opa's place -Where an old rooster visits with friends

What I often do is make lots and freeze some instead of baking. I've also tried baking and then freezing and while that works when you nuke them for 2 minutes they aren't quite as good as those that are frozen and baked later.

OK you got me on the slang words, Neeps and tatties...what are those?

I do know toad in the hole, bubble and squeak...do you all have to name your food by sound or what it looks like?

I must admit, once I found out what toad in the hole was, it didn't look bad at all and in fact, some said it's delicious!

Seriously, the heart diced up might be a reasonable additive.

Neeps & tatties - rutabaga (swedish turnip) & potatoes
