Hi everyone

, haven't been around much lately, been very busy working and getting the gardens ready for spring!

I got a job at Lowes last week and I got another job this week! To bad I will have to leave Lowes, I was really enjoying the 10% discount on all their garden and home improvement things, but, I am spending more then I am making there!!

The new job I got, is as a vehicle operator at the Air Force Base, much more money and less stress on my old bones. (walking on concrete all day kills me).

As for my getting ready for spring..... DH and I have built raised beds for our vegetable gardens and hauled about a million wheelbarrow loads of FREE compost from our neighbours. They have a gold mine between our properties that they do not use! They have been dumping barn waste, grass, leaves and such in the same spot for 10 years, so we have plenty until ours gets going!

This is what we have so far......we will be finishing up this weekend if the rain is not to bad.

I even have enough compost to fill the flower bed!!!
