i have an Aracauna hen that is breathing heavily with her beak open, making sounds with every breath...think creaky screen door noise. a couple of weeks ago, we trimmed some strange spurs off her legs that were causing her pain. she has been happy ever since, until this morning when I noticed the breathing issue. Does anyone have experience with this? should I quarantine her so as not to infect the rest if my hens?
