Operation Integration

So the Silkie and the Frenchies are co-mingling and they seem to be hitting it off well here today on day 2 of Operation Integration.
No problems aside from a few light pecks. But I was told to expect that, so...
One Frenchy (Squidzilla) seems a bit timid while the other (Ricky) is right in the mix with Greycloud.

I failed to mention the Silkie is an adult. French Wheaten Marans.

Is it possible for them to harass the adult Silkie?

It's possible but I wouldn't worry until the marans are adults, than you will have to see how they interact. I went by your adorable avatar silkies, so I thought they were all babies.

That's what I figured
I heard that integrating them young may help with the transition into adults.
I hope that's the case!

I integrate usually around 8 weeks, but last year it was 6, and this year mine are out in the coop at 4 weeks, younger is definitely better.
