Update- Decided not to kill her right away and give her an opportunity to heal.
Today she is up and walking normally again.

I'm glad she is better!!!

So glad she's better! I'm glad you posted the question, though. It can be a hard decision. One has to weigh how much is too much to put our chickens through. How long do we let them be in pain before we decide they'd be better off? Are we trying to "save" the bird to make us feel better, or do we really have the bird's best interests in mind? So many things to consider. It's a tough thing to have to deal with.
