Thank you! I did soooo much reading before I even made the decision to keep backyard chickens, but there is so much varying information out there and like everything, opinions vary. I am also a two year beekeeper and it was the same thing, a learn by experience what works best for you. That being said, if adjustments and changes need to be made I'm prepared to make them for the health and well being of the flock.

Just remember what works for me might not work for you, wait for trouble, always have a back up plan, your own personal observations and experiences should be your guides.

Thanks! I'm sure I'll have more questions in the next few months as problems arise and its nice to get varying information, allows a lot of options for resolution to an issue.
