Can you buy a small building ?Woah then I won’t be wasting 900 on that lol! Is there a better company? The reviews were all positive so I had my hopes up![]()
Hardware cloth will protect them over windows and the run they are in.

Agree but I was hoping it would at least fit 4It is too small for what they are advertising. I wouldn't put more than 3 chickens in it.
Nope unfortunately, ill keep in mind the hardware cloth thing thanks !Can you buy a small building ?

I'll try to find somlething like that ill ask my grandpa , thanks!I just looked and they sure are cute, but that's more for just a couple of chickens or I'd use it for a grow-out pen, but way too much money for whatever it is that won't last more than a couple of years. When I saw this picture, it sort of looks like it's a doll house.

I'm surprised it really does get good ratings though, whereas most don't.
Like @pennyJo1960 suggested, could you find a building, like a shed of some sort from someone that wouldn't want it any more? You could remodel that to be a sturdy and much roomier coop, then make a huge run for them and not this little pen, with 1/2" hardware cloth so they'd be safe.
Here's our coop forum you could peruse and maybe find something you could do yourself or at least get ideas.
the coops I have heard are good but their large option is only around 9 sq ft. The wagon looks to be large enough for 4 chickens but it is $1,300. And then you would still need a run which would add even more.@Perris reviewed the Nestera prefab here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/reviews/nestera-chicken-coop.12115/
They are warranted for 25 years, and appear to be a couple hundred cheaper than that one you've posted.
Here's their website. https://nestera.us/
I didn't dig into it at all, just read what Perris said and glanced at their website, assuming the OP would need a medium which was $599. But yep, then the run out of HWC would be probably another $200 depending on the dimensions and cost of the HWC at the time. That stuff we've noticed has come down though.the coops I have heard are good but their large option is only around 9 sq ft. The wagon looks to be large enough for 4 chickens but it is $1,300. Yeah I think I’ll look for local ones and they’ll probably be sturdier and only for around 20-80 bhd, I was thinking buying a run from them then taking an unfinished coop we have add wheels to make it movable so I can use it (its pretty far so i need to move it and the area it’s in is dangerous) not sure if it’ll work but I’ll give it a tryPretty much all prefab coops aren’t very good. I would try to find someone local who can build a proper one or look for a used one. Facebook marketplace will sometimes have good used chicken coops.
