I am no expert but agree given your mild weather I'd invest in a roomy run. One frequently cited rule is to give each bird 4 sq ft inside and 10 sq ft outside if they are confined - but more is even better if you have the room and resources. How often do you get storms that might drive them indoors for days at a time? If bad weather is very infrequent you probably could get by with a little smaller coop since they will only be sleeping and laying in it.this isn't any bigger but is way cheaper

what if you spent the extra money making or buying a really big run? Our winters are so mild that you could maybe get away with a smaller coop if you had a really good size run...??? Chicken experts?!
