I have read much on here about Ventilation or lack there of. I have gotten this coop:
http://www.rootscoopsandmore.com/Roots,_Coops,_&_More/Coops.html#4
http://www.rootscoopsandmore.com/Roots,_Coops,_&_More/Coops.html#5

...as a kit.. It is still in pieces as I am priming and painting it prior to assembly.
I am thinking about adding some ventilation then it occurred to me - it came with some insulation to fill the eaves and roof peak.
I'm thinking if I don't use the insulation, it would provide perfect ventilation out of the roof peak and eaves. I mean really, it's not like that is going to provide much warmth.
The rest of the coop is uninsulated anyway...
Wouldn't those locations be perfect for insulation - protected airflow?
Love some feedback,
Steve

It looks as though pic #5 shows your ventilation window. the insulation may be for the tin roof? You wouldn't want to lose the rising heat. I would build it as the instructions say and trust the design to have the right ventilation. I doubt it's something the designer forgot.
