So I’ve heard both
“That’s a pullet”
“That’s a cockerel”
I tried to get neck feather pictures but the lightening was so bad
Around 11 weeks.

So here it is again...

Pretty red for 11 weeks.....a couple hackle feathers closest to the head might be pointed, but it's honestly hard to tell. Any pictures showing the saddle? :)

ETA: Upon closer inspection, pretty sure I spot rounded fringe surrounding possible "male specific plumage." Depending entirely on development rate, 12 weeks is the average age at which pointed feathers begin manifesting.

If you zoom in you can see that the iridescent color is pointed but there is rounded feather around it. Very confusing chicken.
Quite normal in females and young cockerels (before male feathering comes in). :) Note how wide these feathers are, too. Pointed male specific plumage (even when first appearing in the saddle/hackle) is quite "skinny."

This is demonstrated quite well by a shot of my Marble -

That’s what I thought too! I have quite a few roosters so far and they all showed obvious feathering by this age.
