Orange chicken bought from hackery LOOKS LIKE ROOSTER??

I got this thing in may i got 9 chicks that were female they told me but as this one grew it was always the biggest one and it has little spurs but has a hen face and sounds like a hen

also her like butt is fluffy unlike my rooster and her tail feathers form a triangle type cone when she is happy i picked her up from when she was dustbathing and she wasnt vbery happy normally her tail feathers dont droop down like a rooster

looks like one of my red star hens....... for a while thats what mine looked like and we weren't sure if they were all truly hens but they def are.

Looks like I can see saddle feathers, so I would guess a boy.

I'd say it's a hen... not a really "pretty" one, but a hen anyway. Hatchery birds aren't show-quality critters, but can still make great pets. And yes - hens can get spurs. It's not overly common, but its not unheard of either

wow thats a shame now i have 2 roosters. i got rid of 1 rooster that looked kinda like this but was an americana. i gave him away and now i have another. He watches out for the chuickens i thought he was an alpha female hen or something. he got into fights with my hens when he was 3 months old and he fluffs his face up with other hens i thought he was a hen becuase the feed store where i got them from said there was a 10 percent chance there could be a rooster. I had a hen like this a couple years ago red star it looked identical i still think its a hen though becuasewe never ever had roosters and we always raised them our selves when we bought them from the feed stores. just got to wait and see!
