Hello All!
I have a covered run that is about 10x8. The coop is inside, but raised, so the chickens have full floor space. I only have 4 hens. Technically they have plenty of room, but I am a "more is better" kind of pet owner. I live in a city where they cannot roam free. I try and let them out for bits of time, but in the winter, that is not always doable. I was wondering about building an extra run space using the orange construction grid plastic fencing. It would only be accessible if I let them out, so it does not need to be predator proof. I am more concerned about it being chicken proof. I would cover the top too, so they couldn't fly out. Does anyone have any experience with this? Can the chickens pull it apart?
Thanks
Janice
