That is so funny-I had a guinea named Dodger! I miss those goonie birds. That is such a handsome cat. I love gray cats.
This was a stray that came around for a year before I started putting food out for him. Never got close enough to know if it was male or female, so I called him/her Ghost because he vanished if I looked at him too closely. I fed him for two years before it became clear that something was after him. Eventually, he never came back.

And later, this black cat started making his rounds. I called him Smudge. When pregnant Mrs. Smudge showed up with him, DH stopped encouraging him to stay by stopping the periodic feeding.

Then, for a long time, saw no cats at all here. One morning, caught a glimpse of an orange and white Maine Coon who had been reared up looking in the main coop window, just as a propped up screen fell, causing him to sprint off before I could get a good look at him. After that, no cats except maybe one or two single sightings until Finn showed up. I think the coyotes and foxes have decimated the stray population.
