I hope this link works as it is funny ....

I came across it this morning and had to send it to my hubby asking him if it reminded him of anyone

Besides the baseball bat, that is our Chimee!

Omgosh, I saw that! My own DH told me I had to look at a cat cartoon off of FB and that's it. Speak of waking someone up, this morning before 6 a.m., I had been listening to a whipporwill out in the woods and must have dozed back off. I remembered my DH getting up and never realized he came back to bed. He's always up much earlier than I am. Anyway, I woke to Finn meowing at the open window behind our headboard. When I didn't hear the door open to let him in the house, I figured husband didn't hear him so I yelled, "CAT WANTS IN!". I didn't realize that my DH was sound asleep beside me, LOL. Talk about a rude awakening!

As I have mentioned before, we have two indoor Cats; Syba and Chimee. Syba is the one who is Dad-obsessed and Chimee is the aloof, do not touch me without 24 hours written notice one BUT only during daylight hours. Of a night time, when we are trying to sleep, she is a completely different cat with “cuddle me” demands and overdoses of affection.

Syba is very vocal and constantly talking; Chimee is the quiet one, very rarely speaks .. except at night time when she talks to her toys!

I asked the Vet about her strange double personality and she came up with the fact that cats are daytime sleepers and night time hunters but am I not convinced this is the reason. She does not sleep all day and still plays with her toys, just not talk to them.

I would be interested if anyone else has any other thoughts/suggestions?

While catching up with the latest Flinn tales, I heard a ruckus in the backyard. The seven chicks (ranging in age from 8-10 weeks old) are being chased by a foster min-pin mix who has gotten off her lead and is joyously chasing the adolescent birds. The cats look on annoyed from the herb garden inside the chicken run on top of the broody coop (their favorite hangout). Sigh. This is why I try NOT to foster dogs.
