Orange with white tips on wings-looks like Brahma in face

Hey everyone,

I don't have a pic yet but will get one today. This bird was rescued from animal control. She is large, friendly, and orange with white tips on her wing feathers, lays large, sometimes double-yolked eggs. Her face looks like a Brahma, and she doesn't have much of a comb, if any. Any ideas? Will post a pic today.

With the color mentioned, it sounds like a Sex Link, but if it really does have a pea comb, not sure. Pics would help.

It's been raining and/or cloudy here for the last few days, so I haven't been able to get a good pic. Will submit one as soon as the sun comes out! From the pictures I've seen online, I'm kinda thinking Golden Comet.
