orangish color in poo? is it a concern or a carrot?

Hello, I just bought a white silkie yesterday afternoon (supposed to be 1 year old). She looks and acts totally healthy and perky, but 3 of her poops have looked like this

Do I need to be concerned? I fed her cooked carrots last night, and this poo was from this morning... the orangish color looks like the carrot, but is a little gooey. Her first poo after picking her up from the man I bought her from looked like this too. Not sure what he fed her before I got her from him.

Any thoughts? Does she need to be treated for cocci or something?

Was she having these poops before you fed her the cooked carrots? It may just be the carrots passing but if it continues i would be a bit more concerned. Is she eating and drinking ? lethargic ? acting different in any way?

I would just let her be but watch her closely, if she continues to have these stools then it could be cocci? or worms perhaps. Good luck and keep me posted

I recommend having your local farm vet test a sample of the poo. The Jelled nature of the orangish part of the droppings indicates a parasite in my opinion. If my suspicion is correct you definitely do not want to let this go. Some parasites can be deadly when left untreated and not all of them are eradicated by the yellow-label bottles and Wazine.

Yes, there is still the possibility of Cocci. Sometimes you can see that indication by checking the bottoms of their feet for reddish or discolored spots.

Also, we discovered the night we brought her home that she was covered in lice. So I dusted her with seven dust (only thing I had avail that night), and I cannot find anymore on her. She has had many normal poos, over the past 2 days, but I did find one more w/ a tinge of that orangish gell. So I'm still not sure what's up.
