Orchids? Anybody?

Mine is blooming again.

Well alrighty then! How often do you change out the water, Keeks? Just regular city tap water? Doesn't it grow algae sitting in the window like that? And which way does that window face? Details, woman! We need details!

Honestly I probably only change it once every few weeks. And yes city tap water. This window faces north east. The water is a little greenish looking now so maybe I'll change it today.

Thanks I'll probably do the same as well as I can except I'll use rain water. In the house we have softened well water and I think they would prefer rain.

Bulbophyllum nasicaa

It recently bloomed. This is an older picture when it was blooming. It made 3 flowers. They last a very short period of time before they fall off.

Platystele johnstonii (it is very small, look for the flat oval leaves within the moss)

Dendrobium elliottarium garretti (this orchid is deciduous, has lost its leaves and is currently dormant, so there really isn't anything to see here right now)
