Order mix up...

The lady at the feed supply store only had 2 orders to take care of. Both myself and the other person ordered 2 white silkies and 4 other chicks. I ordered gold Sebrights and Cuckoo Marans for my four other birds. When I picked up my order I saw the lady get confused about whose was whose. I had my husband call her and try to talk to her about the mix up but she was adamant that the order was right. Oh, well... I know these are not Sebrights and Marans... any guesses? I could only get one good picture of one of each of the ?????s They came from Belt Hatchery and I'm guessing Buff Orpington & Red Sex-link? The more buff ones are growing FAST and are almost twice as big as the others... hmm...

The other reason I thought they were 2 different types of chicks was because 2 of them had red marker on their heads and 2 didn't. Any idea why? The ones with the marker are growing twice as fast (the first picture) as the other 2 and their feathers are more solid in color.

Feedstore did the same thing to me. I was supposed to get dark brown egg layers. I got Easter eggers and, I hope, a cuckoo marans. Very frustrating. Sorry!
