Order was fixed UPDATED !! 43 chicks 34 roos

yup It sounds like my first order years ago. Twenty six chicks=20 rooster + 6 hens. McMurray. And I did not know enough to complain. I will only order pullets now. The cost is no greater since a lot were wasted with my staight run................never order that again.

I don't think it's very random either, I think they good well know exactly what they give you, and it pisses me right off................. they knew from the get go I was not ordering meat chickens I wanted layers, for eggs and pets, a few roosters would have been ok even 50% would have been acceptable, now I have to butcher all these babies I have coddled/ cared for/ and spoiled, do they not realize even killing a roo is very hard for people who love their animals, this is gonna suck so bad and they are almost all so very friendly, and the boys are so curious and cute, I really only have 1 rooster who is mean, not to me but the girls, he has been picked up or booted and tossed a couple times by me for meanness, but the rest are pretty good roo's. I really am so upset and sad it makes me wanna cry some more....

I can only possibly keep 2 roosters with this amount of hens and even that maybe too many will have to see how it goes. I want to keep my 2 EE's as roo's to keep the genetic diversity in my flock, they are the only 1's who aren't related to someone, except my Fileene the only EE hen I have, because they came from TSC.
I love the SS roo's too, my BO are friendly, and my Delaware roo's are so nice and pretty too . I can't decide on who to keep and who to butcher, it's been driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for weeks............trying to make these hard decisions are so hard on me, I can hunt and kill any critter in N.America, but if I raise it It's almost impossible, when we tried raising a couple pigs a few years back, I cried the whole time I cut them up and everytime I made any pork from them for supper......arggggggggggg I just wanna bawl llllllllllllllllllllllll

I'm so mad at them for this order I almost wish I would never have ordered chickens!!!!!!!!!
