Ordered a genesis 1588 last night. I am going to wait till at least February to start hatching... uh huh...

Have fun! Its the worst addiction ever. I am going through a withdrawal and I pulled the plug 2 days ago. I spend about $100-$200 on eggs a year.

You're gonna love love love your 1588 but not til Feb!?! Good luck with that! I'm using mine for the first time right now and I love love love it! It arrived last Fri - same day as the eggs I ordered. How's that for luck? I used an LG still air before w no turner. I keep feeling like I should be doing something ( checking, turning etc) but everytime I go check, it is right on!

Well, that is the plan anyway. I don't know if I can hold out that long. I want to start with some quail first, since keeping them inside shouldn't be too bad over the winter. Then on to chickens!

We'll see how long I make it before I have eggs in it!

I have two of those bators. Just got them a couple of months ago. And, they haven't stopped running since. LOVE them. Be prepared to become addicted!!
