Pay the 1.75 per chick. You'll get attached to the little boys and it will break your heart trying to figure out what to do with them and get rid of them.

Just and FYI - you can order a small quantity of chicks through MyPetChicken.com if you wanted....

I love barred rocks! Congratulations on your first order. I hope your daughter doesn't get too anixious for the wait. The kids and I handle our chicks everyday and we ended up with super friendly lap chickens. However, we waited 2 days before handling just to make sure they were well enough from the stress of a new home. Good luck!
