Depending where you bought it, call them and tell them it doesn't work. I got mine and the turner didn't work either. I called GQF and they sent me a new motor for it and that did the trick. It wasn't hard to replace (I did have to call them to ask how to get the old one disconnected though) but its been fine ever since.

I got my 1st 1588 back in April, then my 2nd one in May. I've had to restrain myself from ordering a 3rd. I was hooked after the first hatch! I am so addicted! Broody hens can do it better, but I love the sound of my bator motor humming here, and the chicks peeping away in my Dining Room when they hatch. Once they go out to the brooder box, I miss it and have to start all over again!
