Ordering chicks?

She's been broody for a week, i checked the eggs this evening and they both have veining and i can see the embryo, I'm just not 100% sure about them, they look a lot different than my first hatch that i incubated. Its like one side has the development and the other side is clear? If that makes sense. The eggs i incubated a few months ago had veining throughout the whole egg.
Assuming you candled day five or day six, the embryos wouldn't have developed enough for their veins to grow through the whole egg. Give them a few days and check again.

You should call or email them for the hatch/ship date. I just checked their Availability chart for the chicks you ordered, The first availability is 02/06/2019

It doesn't say, it says to allow 10 business days for them to find a hatch/ship date that will accommodate and be available for all the chicks in my order.

Yes yesterday was day 6! I left them in there and I'll check again day 14, i try not to mess with her because I'm scared I'll break her broodiness by bothering her. My first hatch in the incubator i couldn't help but candle every day, to me it seems like hatching with a broody goes by a lot faster than hatching eggs in the incubator.

Please keep us updated! I'm planning to do the same thing if one of mine goes broody in the spring.
:pop
I sure will! I'm very excited for the spring! Eggs, broodys and babies! If i can't sneak these babies with this broody now, I'm sure I'll be able to with another hen because i have a feeling this broody is gonna make some of the other hens broody!
