Ordering chicks?

I figured it out. F
Are you wanting just Brahmas?
Not necessarily, i wanted 2, a male and a female and 2 BO or either 2 RIR.
When i type in which i want on the Brahma, 1 male and 2 females just to make it 3, it tells me it can't do that but once i press unsexed 3, it puts it in my cart.

I see whats going on. For the breed you picked, you can only order them in:
Light Brahma -
Sold as Baby Chicks Only
Minimums -
Option #1: Not Sexed = 3
Option #2: Female = 3
Option #3: Male = 1 You can place 1 male in your cart of this breed but you still need 2 chicks more to ship
Total of 3 birds to ship

I finally figured it out lol! But lorrrrt at the small order fee lol! Racked up to $50 just for 3 chicks!

If i went ahead and got the 1 male LB and 3 female LB, i really love how big they are buttt are they good egg layers? I've read where some people say they are and some say they aren't.

Sadly yeah but it's well worth it!
I ordered 4 chicks from Cackle in 2017 in the middle of winter. My chicks were shipped out and a snow storm hit dropping temps to the negatives. All 4 chicks arrived alive and healthy!
The shipping box had a hay liner on the bottom and then a smaller box on top of the liner and inside the smaller box was a heat pad with a hay nest liner and my 4 chicks. The heat pack stayed warm 4 days after chicks arrived too.

Congrats on your chick order!:celebrate

I honestly don't know. I only have order Easter Eggers from them and they were great layers and I got Pink, and Blue eggs from the 4 I ordered. I never staid into chickens long enough to know breeds laying capabilities. I'm a duck lover...

I'd love to have ducks, when we dig a pond in the future i plan on getting some! So until then I'm just gonna have to stick with my chicken babies and miniature horses! :love

That's what I spent on my 4 this post spring!

Brahmas are *okay* layers, but they are BIG birds who take a while to mature. I have a buff who isn't laying yet, but she's already way bigger than my others! Super sweet girl, though. And so pretty! I'm sure you will enjoy them.
