Pretty hot there to this time of year. Best thing to do is talk to the hatchery they can tell you if its safe to ship to your state in summer. Or when is best time so you can get them outside before cold weather hits.

Yep being over on the west side of the Mississippi makes a big difference.

I live in a dinky little town too, I bet that if I was still in Seattle I might have gotten them Tuesday instead. The good news for me is that since I live in a heavy farming community, my post office called me at 5AM so I was able to pick them up almost the moment they arrived.

I'm actually looking into Ideal for some female Magpie, Metzer doesn't sell them.

That’s what I want to get is some more Cayuga ducks. No more drakes for me. Hahahaha
