Ordering two ducks is crazy expensive!

i only wanted a couple ducklings. Went to order from Metzer but they have a minimum order, so it ends up being cheaper to buy 10 ducklings, keep what you want, then sell the rest and make your money back. Of course, i ended up keeping all 10 (+ 1 drake) as they were so cute.

i have a friend who lives nearby who raises ducks. He has Cayugas, but don't think he has Khaki Cambells. i can pm you his contact information if you like.

I wasn't going to get more than 2. Then i bought 3... and a week later I bought one more. I don;t have them anymore, Ducks are ALOT more work than chickens lol and I just didn't have the time.

man, I've had three duos come from metzers costing me $68 each time.... you don't even want to know what we spend on food, treats, toys, pens etc on the six of them... People would think i was nuts. lol they have their own room, and fan and humidifier, and air cleaner, oh boy I should stop.... lol
